NEW INFORMATION FOR FLOOD VICTIMS: The NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance announced today that the USDA has just approved the request to allow households living and receiving SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) benefits in Madison County to be able to receive replacement benefits for food lost from June storm events. Those households have until close of business Monday, July 29, 2013 to request replacement of SNAP benefits for food lost due to June 2013 storms and flooding.

DFS MOBILE COMMAND CENTER - The DFS Mobile Command Center will help victims with insurance issues. Impacted families and business are urged to call the DFS Disaster hotline for assistance at 1-800-339-1759, which is available on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

National Grid Inspection Form
National Grid will cover up to $85 of the cost for electrical inspections even if the inspector does not participate in National Grid’s program.   If you have already paid a non-participating inspector, please save your receipt and you will be refunded up to $85 by National Grid.
